“When entering a field as unique as Rawhaniyat, one experiences many things: excitement, fear, ambition, self-doubt, among other emotions. Shaykh Emad teaches you how to navigate these feelings and outlines the best steps you can take to succeed. He is open to class-related and personal questions, places emphasis on understanding the material and its application, and is supportive of every student's journey. Regarding my own journey, it has been great. With the help of Shaykh Emad, it became easy to learn the material taught in the class as long as you took good notes. My questions and concerns were always met with clear, sincere answers. However, I only obtained from this course as much as I was willing to put in. When I put in the adequate effort to ensure proper understanding (which really wasn't that bad), the path became easier. One of my favorite parts of the course is the awraad assigned to you. While there is a short, intense period of dhikr in the beginning required to enter the field, the load is heavily decreased afterwards, and you are assigned daily awraad. The daily awraad are not overwhelming, especially if you schedule your time well. They inculcate qualities of discipline and consistency within you, not to mention the clear benefits you notice in your life. Furthermore, trying practical methods taught in class reinforce the reality of these sciences and their importance in our times. Regarding the actual material taught, it is difficult to describe. How can one put into words the value of learning that which uncovers hidden wisdoms and meanings from the Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as their practical application? Even now, I am trying to wrap my head around it, and I thank Allah for guiding me to this path. To end off, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be in this program. May Allah reward Shaykh Emad and all those involved in facilitating the school”

“I had my first session one day ago. Prior to receiving the treatment I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was nervous but the admin were very helpful in answering any of my questions so it put me more at ease. During the session I felt strange and a bit scared as obviously I had never experienced such a thing. Certain parts of my body felt really heavy, parts of my body were shivering, twitching and shaking involuntarily as well as my heart beat increasing extremely fast like as if it was going to explode out of my chest, my breathing would get heavy and fast with my mouth shivering as well at some points and then it would all stop within an instant, and then start again moments later, either slowly or straight away getting back into the heavy breathing and involuntary shaking and twitching. Afterwards I felt very hot and sweaty. The admin team went into detail of what needs to be done afterwards which made me feel at ease knowing what needs to be done with no questions needing to be asked. Since the treatment I haven’t noticed a change yet. I look forward to the next few sessions I have scheduled.”
